Caffe Latte, Normal
“Normal” is what they call a “Medium”, here.
Museo Nacional Del Prado, Paseo del Prado, s/n, 28014

The Prado Museum is the best. Its contents include most of everything on our college Art History class syllabi. Las Meninas, La Maja Desnuda - they’re all there. So were the Chinese tourists, AARP members, and hordes of Spanish teenagers on school trips. Nevertheless, it was an experience to remember. We will never get that much Goya, Velázquez, and Sorolla in one place.
We continued to take tips from our Monocle Travel Guide, Madrid and tried to hunt down some vermut, apparently a hipster choice for pre-dinner drinks. We went to Bodega Ángel Sierra, a dive bar in the Chueca neighborhood. It was like the 500 Club in San Francisco, except with boquerones and toothpick appetizers. Eh, vermut - not my new favorite drink. But, man - those little Spanish olives and pickles they give you to nibble on had us going back to the bar a few times. #kimchiespanol is what we call it now.
